Going to the movies always is a special thing, watching them at home (on TV screen - streamed, DVD, VCR) is fine, too, but another kind of experience (with often commenting while watching). Not watching a movie on I-phone.

Movies are first and foremost made to be enjoyed in theater but due to the unreasonably high ticket prices in my state, I've to become more choosy about the movies I go to watch in theaters. (Talking about weekend prices here cause it's not possible for me to go watch movies in weekdays due to long hours in job.)

Also I have taken subscription of 4-5 sites (Amazon prime, Zee5, hotstar, Hoichoi etc) so watching movies/series on my tab or laptop have become a habit.

I prefer ott. But i only have prime and netflix and they don't have everything i want to watch. And also i dont want anymore subscriptions so might have to go theatre in that case if i badly want to watch something.

OTT there aee varieties of films & genres that i can choose from and also languages. The other languages films does good cinema than BW & South Indian Cinema

Theatre i don't want to waste my hard earned money on these actors. Furthermore times have changed films does not excites me anymore at all nor actors. All these films will be up on OTT i have subscription i will watch in my couch with dim lights be it south BW HW korean Chinese Thailand Malaysia Indonesian films. My fav cartoons & animation films

Why waste money on films tickets. Satya Prem Ki Katha was my last that too i was forced by my cousin as she likes Kartik-Kiara pairing. I realise i fall asleep mid way. I saw the film properly on OTT

Without the streaming services it wouldn't be possible to me to watch so much cinematic content, so I'm happy that OTT exists (not only Netflix, Amazon, Disney etc. but also those like YouTube and others where I can get content without a subscription).

Theatre experiences now are selected decisions - be it with the kids or only for me... what had been an almost daily pleasure (living in a big city with many theatres) now are little events - still pleasurable (I don't have to buy something to eat or drink, right?)
