Because his father then would not have been at an age anymore to fight the baddies... it's just part of Atlee's story to make SRK play the vigilante who grew up in a women's prison without a father about 30 years older than him... yet even as being made young through VFX and make-up, he still changed himself into other appearances...if one counts well (apart from clueless dad): his father before son was born, son as prison warden/director, son in the metro train, son kidnapping Health-Minister. To me, that was mega-fun and entertaining

Isn't the 'clear' pic an AI-generated one? Will he really have exactly those tatoos? I know that a London-based tattoo-studio is at the sets but would they reveal the original work done???

I'm quite sure that SRK will have different looks in the movie...
