Aneet is a non-factor to me. She has one standout scene in Saiyaara but the rest of the movie is just her staring with eyes wide open and passive reactions. She is only pretty in a plain way but her face is not beautiful nor is she suited for the silver screen. I think she will burn out in the next few films she does.

Tripti has the "it" factor and can actually act. Bad scripts are what's hurting her but many top actresses had a rough couple of early years before making it big with one trademark performance. Rani had Saathiya and Deepika had Cocktail. I think Tripti has that opportunity in her movie with Shahid or Spirit.

Her acting has been AVERAGE at best in all of her theatrical films. And What IT factor? Did you see her Mere Mehboob song? I don't know about IT, but there was definitely ICK.

I think we need to remember that all the top heroines didn't start from the top. Sridevi came from the South and her Sadma remake was a flop in Hindi. Himmatwala was her star-making movie but she had a flowerpot role in it and it took years for her to break out of that mold before she got Nagina and Mr. India. Deepika had the greatest debut any actress could have with OSO and then followed that up with Love Aaj Kal. But her films after weren't good and she was basically written off until Cocktail. Karishma spent the first half of the 90s in the worst movies with worst roles and worst styling, until making it big with Raja Hindustani. Only then did she became a top actress. Same with Kajol. Her debut film was ignored and while she had Baazigar as her second film, it was SRK who was noticed more for that. It took DDLJ and Karan Arjun to make her a star in 1995. Juhi debuted as a side actress to Sridevi and didn't get QSQT until 2 years later. Rani was unnoticed as an actress until KKHH as a side actress. Then she languished in horrible films until Saathiya 4 years later.

My point is that it's too soon to count out Tripti. The films she made after Animal had terrible scripts to sabotage her and most of those films she signed before Animal even came out. No gifted actress could have elevated those movies, even Tripti. Let's wait until Spirit and her movies with Shahid and Madhuri to see what her standing in the industry should be, because those seem like stellar scripts with content-driven roles.

As for Tripti's songs, I think she's overhated as a dancer. Not the best but not terrible either. She was good in Mere Mehboob and the one cringy dance move was removed from the movie on OTT.

Tripti is a very good actress despite recency bias, her performances in Bulbul and Qala were excellent. She even acted well in that film with Rajkumar (Vicky Vidya one) she had solid comedic timing.

Yes that animal role was weird but it gave her fame, she needs one breakout performance to launch herself (Like deepika had cocktail).

Aneet is only one film old and we can't compare to Tripti, if we talk about acting this isn't even a question, Tripti blows her out of the water. With that being said Aneet has potential and she has very good screen presence and a certain grace on screen which many of the actresses lack. She needs some more work but she can emote decently and there's potential for sure.
