I think Amir is already doing what he is supposed to, doing direction, production and meaningful roles for the most part.

Stk/salman are stuck being the type cast. One is lover boy trying to be action hero while the other has been playing people massiah on and off screen for past who know how many years. They are the ones who need to retire into doing something more meaningful cinema in last part of their careers.

SRK should now go for more character centric roles. Like Swadesh, CDI, DZ & if he really wants to play romantic roles then go for heroines of his age & mature roles. I've been his fan for a long time & honestly speaking I can't watch him in roles where he has to act like a 20 something boy in love & comedy isn't his forte - RNBDJ's Raj type of acting he needs to leave behind. He was so good in films like MHN which was a mix of everything. It feels like he has played all mature roles by his 40s & now playing all those forced comedic chars that doesn't even suit him.

Character roles were the best. Miss that era of movie than the current mindless junk made in the greed of money and numbers.

Big b has better and bigger stardom than these khans. and even better filmography

I was a big fan of Salman once. But now I think he should retire.

SRK broke all records less than two years ago. He is far from done

Aamir will be back, as usual.

Salman needs to do something, everything about him is stale, including his Eid release date. He needs to start fresh. I’d like to see him in a comedy on a non festival release. I think it’d do wonders for him.

I don't think they or anyone needs to retire. They get feedback in the form of boxoffice and it's upto them to take it out leave it. Even now, Salman has the choice to sit back for a bit and reinvent himself. After all, same was said for Shahrukh before Pathan and we know how he successfully transitioned to being an action star.

Also, I love Amitabh but I don't think we can compare his current stardom (after his late 50s) with the Khans. Khans headline the biggest movies even now - Amitabh, while an amazing performer, does not. Strictly from busines point of view, Kalki is purely a Prabhas film. Similarly, TOH is an Aamir Khan flop, Bramhastra a Ranbir Kapoor movie. Amitabh only headlines small or medium budget movies.

Actors sell the movies, there is a huge budget involved and as long as producers and distributors are willing to bet on Khans, they would continue to thrive. If noone trusts them (or their ability to bring business) Khans would anyways be forced to retire.

As far back as I can think, every huge star has banked on an image - Dileep Kumar was tragedy king, Dharmendra a he-man, Rajesh Khanna the romantic hero. Even Amitabh became this beloved icon as the angry young man. Of course over a long career, they experimented. But so have Khans (some more than others)

Even Salman's Bajrangi bhaijaan was a beautiful heartwarming tale, with him playing a simple person without the usual swag. Or, his Prem in Brjatya's movie. Shahrukh has Swadesh, Chak de etc now - in fact his Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa from before is an ultimate beauty where he made a loser so endearing.

The only one without any specific image is Aamir and that too might be born out of necessity. He gained his initial stardom as this super cute and chocolatey hero in campus romances and that has a very short expiry period as compared to others. So he reinvented much earlier and somehow made his "no image /experimental, intelligent hero" into a huge success.

Salman should retire as he is struggling to walk. Make up, de-ageing or vfx nothing is helping. With that wooden face he can't act to save his life.

Shahrukh is still physically the most active Khan among the 3. He is doing well at BO except for the Dunki disaster. He should stop working with actresses his daughters age. Instead work with maybe Vidya, Kajol, Kareena, Rani, Tabu, etc

Amir looks quite good for his age & is selective about scripts. One good thing is that he acts his age and doesn't mind playing father of a grownup son/daughter unlike the other 2 guys who still think they are college students.

All 60 year should give space to younger generation and cheer them up---it is there duty

But Sallu & Srk said at the end of film Patthan that yeh bachon ka kaam nahee hai, and that they-the -Khans need to keep "dragging" the legacy, and will keep doing it 😅
