Ranveer is very well liked in a part of the filmindustry because he's a genuinely friendly person.

Actually, I very much dislike the far-too-often happening comparison between Ranveer and Ranbir...their upbringing, their personalities, their position in the filmindustry are completely different...also (again imo) Ranbir has completely other genes than Ranveer except the acting talent they have.

Influencers can talk all they want. People will do as they wish.

After relentlessly carpet bombing the media with Jigra for a month.

Savi got 1.8 Million views on OTT in its opening week (had never heard of that film) while Jigra got 1.9 Million views.

Ulajh got 3.3 Million views.

If anyone wants to know the dismal numbers of DARLINGS (vs Janhvi's Good luck Jerry)..please let me know!

And people wonder how Janhvi gets films!

As a husband Ranveer clearly is better than toxic Ranbir, only issue with RS is that he’s loud but still he treats Deepika like a queen and they’re happy together. Also films flop and people will change their strategies and do sth different and regain their audience. Even Salman khan is flopping since Sultan’s success till now, or Akshay kumar is flopping since Sooryvansham’s success, Ranbir will flop unless big directors like Vanga directs him, before Animal we all know how much his movies earned. Lol

I think it all comes down to who has had more success. Ranbir post Samshera really revamped his career with Animal, TJMM, and as an actor Bramstra is a success story ( though it just about killed Dharma, which people conveniently forget). I remember during Ranbirs down phase people all but wrote him off.

Ranveer’s fashion sense or his loud personality isn’t the problem, in fact his fashion has helped India get some mainstream attention ( his gucci tracksuits, were so popular and his Tiffany collaboration was competitive with many Korean actors) but the issue is that last true success was Simba and since then his movies have been flopping. also his entourage demands in a post Covid world where cash is tight, profit margins are razor thin, it’s just not acceptable. Bollywood is in a revival phase and people are after success , getting audiences into theatres is everyone’s main goal and if OTT has taught producers something, it’s to stand up to so called big actors. In that sense, Ranbir, who comes does his job and leaves ( as far as we know) is a blessing than Ranveer who just isn’t delivering and he is making huge demands.

If one can "revamp" his career, there is the same possibility for the other one...

Behaviour on the sets: Exactly "as far as we know"...so, the liker of one will believe the positive and the disliker of the other the negative...very predictable (but not inevitably based on reality).

Nevertheless I agree with the producers wanting to get big boxoffice numbers (getting audiences into theatres is a part of that...among other methods).
