It is not as simple as deciding to go direct to OTT..you don't decide that..OTT decides that..all these movies would kill for an OTT direct release but if they don't have potential OTT platforms don't buy them and demand a threatrical first..

I hope this movie will get streamed so that I can watch it... I like the story and I also think that the performances will be very good. I would like that uplifting movies get more attention...

Unfortunately I can't understand what they say, especially the second one (although I could imagine what they say).

In another thread a member who has watched the movie wrote that Abhishek acts very well.

It is really sad that such a movie doesn't get more attendance and needs a second weekend to get 2 cr at least. I suppose there are only a v e r y limited number of screens where it is shown, too. And although Amitji lauding his son's performance on Twitter may very well be deserved, it is somehow embarrassing.

It also is very significant that almost exclusively a certain picture with Abhishek out of the movie is shown... it casts an unfavourable light on him as a person although it absolutely fits to the character's situation in the movie.

I saw it on OTT and it was a decent watch. Having seen my mom face Cancer closely, it was very much relatable. Very few movies have dealt with the seriousness of the disease and Shoojit could only have dealt with the nitty gritty. The dialogues in this movie were really noteworthy and deserves a special mention. The child artist who played the daughter was superb and so was Ab JR for choosing such a movie at this stage of his career. He managed to pull it off and was convincing enough in his part. The only missing link I felt was that they never dwelled upon how he could manage finances for his treatments without having any job...
