Rookie mistake by Rohit Shetty. How is he not aware of copyrights?

I wanted to watch BB3 just for Ami je Tomar, but reading about the pettiness of this Bhushan guy now I am not sure if I want to.

Yea that is a valid point. Ultimately Bhushan is following the law. It might be petty and his motivation might be sabotage but he’s within his rights, technically speaking. I just wonder why has this become an issue now? At the same time you’re right, why was Rohit so careless here? He’s been in the business long enough to know better.

Sooryavanshi was a hit but just barely and that had basically the same cast with Ajay, Akshay, and Ranveer. Only swap out Katrina for Deepika. I doubt Salman's cameo will be that big a deal either. Dabaang 3 was not all that well regarded and if Salman couldn't make Tiger 3 a blockbuster, why this?

Tip Tip Barsa was a blockbuster.. it got more than 7 million likes and nearly 200 million views on insta. Akki had a temporary slump in his career without Katrina,He then turned to films with social messages. There were hits, but not to the level of Welcome, Singh is King..

And that increases my point that Sooryavanshi was only able to be a hit and nothing bigger than that. Singham Returns has basically the same star cast, but like you said the heroine has been replaced and has a smaller part. So if Sooryavanshi could only be a hit with such a cast, that doesn't bode well for Singham Returns which I imagine is even more expensive.

Was is it just because Katrina moved onto bigger stars in bigger movies like her YRF films with the Khans?

The superstars were too shortsighted. Had they given their heroines more respect in terms of money, roles,They would have not made careers of younger stars like Ranbir,Ranveer. Katty,PC,Deepika got better deals with younger stars. In that period..HR,SRK,SK,Akki..they all suffered setbacks.There were minor hits-but not like the ones with A list heroines. Fans like to see their idols, in the biggest films, with the most beautiful, glamorous heroines.

Singham Again unfortunately will go the the Dabangg,Race,Tiger,Welcome, Housefull route.

akki’s best pairing was with pc. They had chemistry, hit films but his wife banned pc from doing movies with him.
