What's different about the second round of your chat show Koffee With Karan?
The format is the same but we have a new set. We're trying to give a Manhattan loft feel to it.
But the same people will come on again? Most of the guests already appeared in the first round but this time the combinations are more striking. We start with Shah Rukh, Kajol and Rani who will be seen together after Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. Then we have Mira Nair, Tabu, Vijay Mallya and Richard Gere. Also, we have some fresh combinations like Kareena, Karisma and Shahid, John and Bipasha, Hrithik and Priyanka. There is a sibling special with Saif and Soha, Sanjay Dutt and Priya. There's one where I'm chatting with film-makers like Rakeysh Mehra, Rajkumar Hirani, Rakesh Roshan and Kunal Kohli. What's the highlight? That's the one with Mallika Sherawat and Sanjay Leela Bhansali. They have nothing in common and yet there is a certain chemistry that makes this episode very special. Mallika was the unofficial brand ambassador of the first show so this time we just had to get her. How many cups of coffee do you have in a day? About five to six. And no, not black. I'm a positive person so I prefer mine milky with some sugar. That has to be sugar free, of course? Yeah, well, it's Splenda. I love it. And if they are reading this, I'm open to endorsing it. So please bring it on. Who's been most difficult to interview? Nobody has been really difficult. But yes, Sunny Deol was pretty challenging but that was because I didn't know him personally at all. But he was so real that it's one of my most favourite episodes. Will Ram Gopal Varma have coffee with you? I'm keen to have Ramu over. Way too much water has flown under the bridge and it'll be good if we can clear everything up on national TV. Who is that one guest you really want to ask over but who hasn't consented?I'd love to have Salman Khan on the show. He speaks his heart. I've asked him but I haven't pursued it. I plan to do it now.
