Yes, they were a lovely pair. Aish always said that Bobby was special to her because he was her first Bollywood hero. Bobby also talked about in a story how Aishwarya was so beautiful that when they were shooting the film in Europe, everyone's heads would turn to watch her and they'd just gape.

I've also only seen very few movies with Sunny. I prefer Bobby.

Aishwarya Rai's first film was supposed to be with Sunny Deol tittled "Indian" but due to production problem film was later shelved.

She then debuted with Bobby Deol.

He still seems loyal to his heroines like Preity, Shilpa, and Amisha since they continue to come with him in movies over and over.

Go check his Aap Ki Adalat episode. The upstaging was what made him mad. He did the movies because of his father.

It's true he's loyal to some of his heroines but the ones you named dgaf about verbal abuse. Most major heroines hated working with him (and unlike the other heroes the major heroines hated working with, Sunny didn't necessarily misbehave with them) he was just incredibly aggressive.

She is so unlucky. Poor Sunny got a bad taste in his mouth after she later refused to work with him. And she worked with Sanjay Dutt in the horrific Shabd lol

Oh wow.

Preity is a childhood friend with the Deols so she's probably used to it. Also I know SRK is a very intense person and not as friendly as he's forced to come across in his public persona. I remember Rani used to say on Chalte Chalte he would scold her a lot so I think verbal abuse may be common for BW men, in varying degrees. We also saw that in private life, Saif has temper problems as well when he assaulted someone. Sunny seems very blunt and it doesn't shock me that he's probably the rudest.

In fact, most of the major BW male stars all seem to have problems. I remember reading that Salman used to play a lot of practical jokes and pranks on his female co-stars because of his childish behavior. Most actresses don't mind or they accepted it (probably the latter since they knew they had no choice) but Urmila did not like his behavior and did not laugh at it. He considered her cold and standoffish so they never made a movie again. And we all know Aamir, Mr. Perfectionist, and how he had a star pairing with Juhi that was beloved all over India but one little spat and he refused to ever work with her again. Then he blacklisted Aishwarya to this day just because she refused one of his films, even though earlier she had said she would quite like to work with them when KJo on KWK asked her about the three Khans and she ignored Salman completely and basically just praised SRK.

Ajay seems like he's good to his female co-stars but we also know how lecherous he is with extras. And occasionally not extras either like with Kangana. And Akshay I think has the same problem especially since he dated most of the actresses in the 90s so there's a lot of bad blood there it seems. And Raveena still seems bitter to this day, making comments about how poor Akshay was targeted by Rekha who was trying to seduce him when more than likely he was happy to reciprocate.

I heard he had anger problems. Like other actresses must say yes to his views.

Apart from Juhi Chawla and Shilpa Shetty, they rarely worked with Sunny Deol despite his good looks and good looks. This may be due to a variety of factors, including casting, scheduling, and the individual preferences of actors and directors, but does not always reflect the professional qualities of the actor.

In an interview bobby himself said he was scared of sunny deol and so were other kids of his locality

So sunny had temper tantrums from when bobby was a kid in 80s only

Also its said sunny wanted to marry dimple dharmji would have none of it married him to pooja deol

Dharmendra betrayal of their mother were taken in diff manners by sunny and bobby i guess

while sunny went aggressive and removed his anger on others (because sunny was 23-24 when hema married dharam) and sunny is more old school too who think younger ones and woman should just obey elders orders(his orders)

Bobby on other side internalized his pain and went emotional (he was a 12-13 year old kid in 1980) and bobby has more modern views on life and family and wife etc

Priety was friend with bobby deol when she was in college(she only told she met bobby when she studied psychology)

Sunny Deol was so impactful and powerful in most of his characters, specially in 90s, that heroines felt neglected and not much to do in his movies. Let's accept the fact, he was one sided .. in so many of his movies, he took away all the limelight and rightly so .. he was just so good in his elements in his kind of roles, that media would not talk about the actress.. over a period of time, there was a perception, that heroines would not have much to do in his movies, so A+ actress kind of backed out on the projects .. (and then some of them lost out on Gadar bcoz of the same logic). Also heroines had more to do in love stories rather than action movies, which was predominantly Sunny Deol Space.

Also Sunny Deol was the highest paid actor during that time, so to compromise on the film budget they could not afford a Madhuri or an Aish
