Honestly, I hate to say this but Deepika was the best thing in Jawan. She acted really well and I don’t see why she can’t get best actress. You don’t need a lengthy role to leave an impact.

If Alia can win for Gully Boy, where she had no role and literally did nothing but wail her arms around, be shrill and flare her nostrils …. at least Deepika can win for a good acting performance

Yes, I was not super impressed with Nayanthara in Jawan and word on the street is she was not pleased either and blamed Atlee for making her role colorless.

When Jawan debuted, the number one topic about the film was Deepika and her special appearance. She truly stole the whole film with her screentime so I can see why so many have felt she deserves the Best Actress title over Best Supporting Actress. This recent award further cements that the industry feels this way as well.

Fellow SRK fans, should we be voting for him in Jawan or Dunki? He's incredible in both but I thought Dunki was the better (and more personal) performance but Jawan was the bigger hit and a dual role to boot.

If you want to vote for Nayanthara then Jawan and if you want to vote for Deepika then Pathaan

OG is how they title all their categories. OG Actor, OG Actress, OG OTT Actor, OG Villain, OG Director, OG Film, etc. They used OG instead of Best.

Vicky won Best Actor btw since no one has spread the news about him.

Alia was Deepika's main competition for Best Actress and Deepika won in a landslide. Comments are all saying that Deepika in a cameo got more attention and votes than Alia in a leading role with the film titled after her character.

Who is the Best Supporting Actor though from Jawan?

I don't see Nayanthara even getting a nomination for Jawan outside of maybe Best Female Debut which would come from her stardom alone. And based on reactions here and now on social media, it seems Deepika is more primed to get a Jawan nomination in Best Actress.

I selected deepika,and when i wrote J - jawan appeared ( best actress) so i voted for her.
