Single screens were arm twisted..Now national chains.

Yes SRK has the power and clout...

He didn't need to use it for Dunki. He already has two super blockbusters.

Dunki isn't getting equal treatment in South. So they shouldn't expect that from Hindi belt .

Also national chains received highest shares this year from Jawan n Pathaan. They will obviously opt for Dunki (for business as well as good will gesture)

No no, I lost hopes on MB movies it's been long, last movie of him I think I liked was Athadu, after that he has been doing some mindless mass masala commercial movies which don't suit him at all, I think Nenokkadine and Srimanthudu looked decent too in between based on the songs or few scenes I watched.

MB movies rarely flop at BO even though he doesn't promote his movies and however shitty they are except 4 flops I guess- Nijam, Naani, Bobby, Nenokkadine(?),Athidhi, and most of his movies get decent hit at BO.

Was never interested in Salaar, haven’t watched KGF or Pushpa or other South movies either. In my book it already flopped to me. smiley36

If the story is good, Salaar will get momentum, content is the king. For the time being, it’s all Hirani that I am betting on for the content.

This is quite dumb from both sides ..

I dont get what was the need for all this arm twisting for single screens. Dunki is not the kind of movie which would get 80-90 % occupancy at the start itself. Once (and if) the wom kicks in, then it will be unstoppable.

This desperation to hog as many screens as possible (to unreasonable levels) is making me doubt the content here smiley29

Kal pata chal jayega

and all this drama is turning it into a North vs South divide game (nothing grinds my gears more than this - being a North Indian living in South India)

Politicians toh divide kar hi rahe hain

Ab movie waale bhi divide karenge kya?
