Sam Bahadur dropped around 40% on Monday to collect in the 3.50-3.75 crore nett range but the film needed to do better due to the weekend figures being low for the film. The film needed to be closer to the first day number and really could not afford to drop more than 25% at the max. .
These numbers are respectable in terms it has clashed with a colossal like Animal and got some numbers as many films which have released without this sort of competition have not been able to get even these sort of numbers. But eventually box office is not doing better than the has been films but getting results and that looks tough for Sam Bahadur post the Monday numbers. .
The Animal wave is going to go on for sometime and then there are two huge Xmas releases so the best case for Sam Bahadur is somehow make it to the AVERAGE mark but with under 4 crore nett coming on the Monday that looks far unless the film can really hold well from here on for a few weeks.
