i dont think so bajrangi did really well and that showed pak in good light. if fighter was to release today it would have same response i think people r done with yrf bohat ziyada hogaya they shouldn’t be doing so many back to back .. same similar story lines same action nothing new to offer

Fighter is not YRF

nothing would have mattered if the content was solid. yes world cup did affect its collections a bit, but that solid punch of Ek Tha Tiger and War was a miss for this one. Movie is watchable but no edge of the seat moments. missed opportunity. i just hope Pathaan vs Tiger does not happen, seriously. my mind still boggles how Pathaan became such a huge hit .

I think there's just action movie fatigue in general. Salman looks too lazy, like he's not even trying.

Pathan worked because of SRK and the controversy of the orange bikini which made people pay attention.

Indians have a thing for the underdog. SRK became underdog after you know what happened. He was also out for a while

It wasn't the content. It was not the direction. Heck, I'll tell you Adi Chopra as the producer seems to be throwing cow dung at the wall and seeing what sticks.

It was not Pakistan bashing because Pathan also promoted peace with Pakistan.

Pathan worked because of SRK and the controversy.

T3 underperformed because it just was not a good film, and there was nothing else to save it.

Movies that depict Paks as saints have been successful before

Have you watched Gadar 2? Gadar 2 didn’t have anti Pak dialogs or sentiments. It was anti Pak establishment. Big difference!In fact Pakistani people were shown as innocent peace loving people who were themselves the victims in the hands of their army.
