Twinkle Khanna with her husband Akshay Kumar, Kapil Sharma, etc.. have been on the KWK couch before.. Twinkle and Kapil were at their wittiest best.. they are known for the humour.. I refuse to believe it was scripted for them..

Obviously some guests go off-script but the reason they script something is so their PR team can review it before anything goes wrong. Several folks can be funny w/o a script but then force the KWK to edit much of the footage afterword because the public can be negative very quick. That takes a lot of time and effort. It's better to script beforehand and occasionally go off topic. Akshay is very particular about his image, so he usually goes fully scripted whereas Twinkle dgaf. Kapil is a literal host, he knows the way it works - he, Archana...etc are obviously exceptions.

Never knew the entire episode is scripted. No wonder Srk is not coming anymore. No big stars coming. When Karan Johar was launching this show Aditya Chopra told him not to do it as it will create a lot of tamasha. It only harmed Karan Johar than do good. Yes it gave him fame and wealth but was it really worth it? I don't think Rapid fire is scripted.

He should had ended in 2021 or even last year.

Back in 2015, Shahid had hired a film-writer to write all the lines he'd say in all the episodes of the talent show he had been judging. So, it's not something new. As I mentioned earlier many actors or their film's promotion team hire their own writers for fun repartee and all.

Writers are needed to stop Karan from asking his guests "in more than 1000 words, appreciate Alia Bhatt" as soon as they step on the stage?

He also has a "research team", one that found out the during last season's shooting "your accent is so sexy" was a trend. I wish they were shooting now, just to watch him ask people to say "Say Aliaa Bhatt is such a wow!"

OT: Son of Abish has better writers, but then, SoB's target audience is smarter (they don't sl*tshame women, neither do Abish's writers focus all their questions on relationships and sex, they also focus on other interesting aspects on their guests life) His guest list is also vast, and not the usual suspects.

It's also so cool that KWK have a queer writer, hopefully dumbaass questions like the gun question and more dumbaass answers like " where I am the guy" won't happen.

So yeah, hotstar, get Abish to do another season (he has a better set and better writers, and with your money, will get some hyped guests too)
