I went and saw the movie, the story is good and tied up with the 1st & 2nd movies from the series very well. The second half could have been better if they had cut short the fighting sequence and shown more of Salman & Katrina scenes.

Katrina was amazing her fight sequences were done so well and well performed by her. Salman excels in these types of roles.

I do have one gripe is when they portray Pakistan and the people, when they showed Islamabad I wanted to bang my head. Since when does Islamabad have Mughal architecture, that city was built in the 1960s from scratch and well planned. In fact that city is surrounded by mountains and is so green. One of the most famous monuments there is the Faisal Masjid. Could the makers not get any footage of the actual city from the net and put it in the movie?

Also, the dressing is not right, especially in the city no one dresses like they showed men wear a topi and shalwar in modern city like Islamabad. I have been there and is nothing like what they showed in the movie.

Thanks a lot, Sunflower, for writing about Islamabad...I never was there or had been interested in this City but now, I will try to get to know as they did portray it in the movie in a way it seemingly isn't...

My full review is in the other topic but wanted to talk about a few things here

Pathaan was more tolerable here than the actual movie. He looked less funny in this one. I think in Pathaan itself I couldn’t get past the fact that him and Deepika had rhe same hair color and cut. The pairing with Tiger felt more iconic in this one as well.

Also whoever decided to put Kabir’a entry right at the end (after Leke Prabhu Ka Naam) should be fired. Most people had left the theatre at that point smiley36what a horrible place to set the stage for War 2, Hrithik got robbed.

I know but I told my colleagues and grouo don’t leave there is a surprise. The problem with yas raj and vp Rohan is they did not promote well and not opening the movie in all places at the same time. Though I think the advantage in opening overseas was people didn’t have to worry on media bias and made own judgement. Plus overseas audience like me could care less on the theme. We got to see a slick action thriller. Anyhow I really enjoyed ur review.
