Agreed that Tiger enough is alone. I mean it was good to see both Pathaan and Kabir, but they brought Pathaan in at a time when he was basically no longer required. If he had saved the day before that point (to avoid giving a spoiler) then it would have made more sense. And they literally added Kabir's scene like 2 weeks before release so that was a definite afterthought.

That also was what had been like an affirmation of what I'm thinking: that YRF waited for the acceptance of Pathaan before including Pathaan into Tiger3 which caused the delay.

If they had the courage to include SRK better into the script already during the original shooting process, this part could have been more 'organic' and the movie could have got an Eid release.

Unfortunately, there are other "they could have done this or that", but they didn't. Still, to me, the endproduct has much more on the positive side than the negative one.

Ha ha, yes! I can relate to that...it reminds me of my five Imax shows of Pathaan (I only spent for the ticket, I skipped eating and drinking during the show), but for Tiger there hadn't been one available in my area.

ger 3 Has A Good First Week

Tiger 3 collected 18 crore nett on day seven which is growth of around 35% from the Friday which is less than normal but was expected as to how Diwali plays out with holiday period ending at different times in different states. The film has done good business in week one with collections of 209 crore nett over the first seven days..

The film is generally good but for the genre and Salman Khan it should have done better in the the Central circuits and Gujarat. The latter has a huge holiday period so the numbers are good but taking into account the period they should have been higher. East Punjab is also low but that is more of a circuit issue for most films. It is the same areas where Jawan and Pathaan underperformed and here it has happened on Diwali..

The film would have had a comfortable 23-25 crore nett to total on Sunday but that will be impossible with the cricket world cup final match feauturing India taking out the business through the whole day. If eventually the film falls short of 300 crore nett it will probably be down to the cricket matches. The collections of Tiger 3 till date are as follows.

Monday - 57,00,00,000 apprx

Tuesday - 42,50,00,000 apprx

Wednesday 19,75,00,000 apprx

Thursday - 16,75,00,000 apprx

Tiger 3 Tenth Film To Hit 200 Crore In A Week - Sixth Highest Ever First Week

Tiger 3 had the sixth highest first week of all time with 209 crore nett and it is the tenth film to collect 200 crore nett a week but post pandemic the 300 crore nett number has become possible and two films have achieved this.

So what this means is that 200 crore nett now is just a good number for these big films where as before the pandemic it would have been very good. The film released on a Sunday and with a normal Friday release it may have done 240-250 crore nett as it would have got far higher numbers on the board before that post holiday drop and cricket match on Wednesday.

The film has found it hard to recover post that Wednesday drop and that is down to so so reports, The film needed to be liked by a wider audience and stronger reports to recover from that Wednesday drop. The top ten first weeks of all time are as follows and also these ten films are the only films to hit 200 crore nett in a week.

1 Pathaan - 3,17,06,00,000

2. Jawan - 3,12,79,00,000

3 Gadar 2 - The Katha Continues - 2,81,44,00,000

4 KGF Chapter 2 - 2,50,51,00,000
