Maybe coffee is addicted to me

I really want to share my intense, unapologetic addiction to coffee. It's not just a casual romance; it's a caffeine-fueled love affair that kicks off every day with a jittery, aromatic thrill.

Coffee beans are more than just roasted seeds; they're my loyal companions in the quest for daily productivity. They're like those friends who know you better than you know yourself.

I have 3-4 large cups of coffee per day and can't fucntion without it. Whether I'm happy or sad, all I need is coffee to jolt me out of my lethargy.

I'm good at my work which is editing but I know half of the credit goes to coffee. Without it, I would be a shell of my real self, I would be shallow and empty.

How many of you love coffee this much?

This is going to be an unpopular opinion, but I find the marketing for coffee/tea is really, really, really good. The messaging for caffeine is all around us in articles, movies, tv shows or the people around us. The story we tell ourselves is we need coffee/tea. We cannot function without coffee/tea. We cannot wake up without coffee/tea. As soon as we turn something into a need it is a habit difficult to break.

I don't drink either tea or coffee now, and I am not missing out on anything.

If coffee makes you happy, then go for it, but at the end of the day it is a stimulant.

True!

The beauty of personal preferences and choices is that they are just that – personal. Some people genuinely enjoy coffee or tea and find comfort and pleasure in them, while others, like yourself, have found happiness and well-being in alternative choices. The key is to make informed decisions that align with your own values and health goals.
