Pretty privilege could be a disadvantage too a lots of time, some actors might not be even taken seriously if they’re very good looking and restricted to eye candy roles or a certain type of roles. In real life of also sometimes being pretty or better looking will make you question why? For example a lot of the people around me will ask me ‘You are so beautiful, how come you ain’t finding a guy’?..

For actors I think pretty or not, someone having a natural quality to entertain others will find a living, I mean for example the tv serial Gopi bahu has the most famous character Kokila modi, she’s not even a looker or good actor but entertaining so iconic. Similarly in Bollywood none of the current actors like Ranveer, Ranbir, Karthik are merely as good looking as the previous generation stars but yet they’ve fans even after some of them having back to back disastrous movies.

I’m Bollywood probably the only combination of good looks and nepotism and talent is Hrithik Roshan, he literally has everything a superstar should have and maybe him being a nepo kid doesn’t hurt anyone as he’s good to the eyes and also can act. But on the other hand nepo kids like Ranbir Alia makes a lot of people cringe, even though they’re considered to be good looking.

In South, Everyone is considered ugly but still they’re massive and their movies sell, dubbed versions are really the best thing happening to neighboring countries, men like Rajnikant who doesn’t look good conventionally is worshipped so it’s not even about looks at some cases, it’s the sheer aura and dedication for craft. Telugu industry is filled with nepo kids only, however they understand that they have responsibilities to contribute to their family legacy and groom themselves, in Pakistan too many good looking actors but none could still be a Fawad Khan just because of the sheer magic he had which was natural to him.

I think Bollywood lacks good looking actors with talent now, currently most are mediocre in looks and more useless in craft, no wonder even actors like Sid Mal also receives nominations in film fare 😳
