The whole Jada will comparison is a bit extreme but Jada and smith did exhibit behavior wherein she thinks of him as someone who will stick by no matter what….and she continues with her transgressions and comes back to him…dosent divorce him….to the point that the guy almost seems gaslit to believe she’s doing this coz she loves him a lot and is coming back to him…it’s kinda twisted

It’s fine to experience mental health issues/talk abt it and seek support but I don’t think it’s fine to use a living breathing person as a human emotional crutch for a lifetime …it does not work

I don't know what relationship Will and Jada had before they got married.

DP said she didn't want to commit.She wanted to be free to date other people, even though there was attraction between them, It is that simple.The word commitment.

I understand so many people running with it. Why not?

RK got the fame, films..media attention after a flop debut because of DP and Katrina.Look at him today.The man who said that he doesn't care if his co-star is a 6 year old boy-he just can't make it with work with any co-star.

RS too started with a small hit-DP was a big star doing films to release in 2013.She had every reason to be wary.

err not sure what ur implying but if ur trying to say that the more successful person gets to be wishy washy with their commitment and “try their luck” with several ppl at the same time …and it’s all forgiven coz “look at her so successful..queen deserves the best ” then naah …don’t agree

This whole simp-queen dynamic that ranveer-dp they have seems very unequal …and kinda disrespectful ..
virat is much more successful than anushka is …and while they have mutual respect …he dosent make statements that feel flippant towards her or like he did some ehsaan on her by marrying her …

Dp on the other hand implies she had several options but she chose him coz he comforts her ….all their convos are abt what he did for her and barely the other way around …

He had to impress her parents, put up with her dating multiple men, plan a massive romantic proposal for her , help her through her tough times , root for her during ramleela auditions names being selected for leela ….
and dp just exists …😂

I think we need to remember that they weren't committed at the start, so when she said she kept coming back to him its not like they were in a serious relationship at the time, it more shows that she had a stronger connection with him than anyone else. And ranveer agreed to it being casual at the start, he understood that she wanted to keep things light and fun with no feelings attached initially, so how is it disrespectful when that is what they agreed to?

Jada and will were married, they were committed, its a whole different scenario.

And she isnt using him as an emotional crutch, ranveer has always been there even without dp asking him to be there.

Deepika came out of some difficult relationships, she was at a time in her life where she was fed up of relationships and just wanted to stay single and have fun, she didn't expect ranveer to come into her life and to fall in love with him. Plus he was so different to her, even her family were not sure about him, so it took her time to allow herself to open up her heart to him and get to a point where she was ready to commit, ranveer mentioned in his filmfare interview that he was happy to wait for her, if he ever felt disrespected he would have left, but he stayed coz he knew she was the one.

Its kinda like rocky aur rani, rani wanted to keep things casual and light at the start coz she was scared to commit to rocky as he was so different to her, then she realised she couldn't live without him and was ready to commit

True. I see the confidence of SRK in her. The "I'm the best" attitude which isn't arrogance but more an acknowledgement that you are truly ever your own competition. Larger industry would definitely have different opinions on who is the best actor but it's important to think of oneself in positive terms. Glad that she's embracing it.

You didn't answer my question though.

All this angst is not against DP.It is against RS.He is the one everyone fears.The target is Ranveer.Why? He did the unthinkable-he broke up Kjo's kitty of nepo babies .There is seismic change.KJo took a look at the last decade in his career..and has decided that he needs to reinvent his image and career.

Kjo doesn't seem to remember Alia's name in his recent interviews.He forgot about RK after ADHM.

Kjo did a hit job on all young stars with his opening episode.PRs of others stars are left scratching their heads.

All the essays about RSDP,is to distract from what actually happened with the opening episode.It is a huge hit..because public loves this new Kjo.
