I think, it isn't only stupid, it's a form of defamation...and here also a blatant lie.
That's the reason why SRK (who had been rather media-friendly) does only movie promotion through press gatherings with a trusted moderator and launches without interviews after the media-slandering of Aryan. He focusses now on interacting with fans/fangroups and posting promotional tweets (which media lap up making a whole article of one tweet or an #askSRK
