The data of C-Voter and India Today’s Mood of the Nation (MOTN) survey has come to the fore. This survey was done between 15 July 2023 to 14 August 2023. According to the data collected from the survey, Amitabh Bachchan was the number 1 hero from the entertainment industry this year. And in the case of heroines, Deepika Padukone got the first position. Pankaj Tripathi was the top OTT male star and Sushmita Sen was the top female star. Kapil Sharma and Bharti Singh have got the first rank in the list of male and female comedians. Public has accepted Arijit Singh as the best male singer. Shreya Ghoshal was chosen as the best female singer.

# Top 5 heroes of the country
1) Amitabh BachchanAmitabh Bachchan was India’s top hero with 27 percent votes. Bachchan did not appear in any film this year. But his quiz show ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’ is featured on TV.
2) Shah Rukh KhanShah Rukh Khan came second with 22 percent votes. Shahrukh returned to films after a break of four years with ‘Pathan’. He remained in the news continuously because of his next film ‘Jawan’.
3) Akshay KumarAkshay Kumar was at number three in this list. He got 9 percent votes. His film OMG 2 hit the theaters with ‘Gadar 2’ amidst all the controversies. Earned well. Apart from this, he was also in discussion because of leaving Canadian citizenship and becoming an Indian citizen.
4) Salman KhanWith 8 percent votes, Salman is on the fourth position in this list. This year his film ‘Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan’ was released. ‘Bigg Boss OTT 2’ became the most watched show in the country, which is hosted by Salman.
5) Allu ArjunAllu Arjun is the new entry in this list. He got the fifth rank with 6% votes. Since ‘Pushpa – The Rise’, he has been seen as a pan-India superstar. Because of which there was a huge jump in his popularity.

1) Deepika PadukoneDeepika is the country’s top heroine with 25 percent votes. Deepika has worked with Shahrukh in ‘Pathan’ this year. There were many controversies regarding the color of her clothes worn in the film. She also participated in Oscars 2023 as a present.
2) Katrina KaifKatrina got second rank in the list with 10 percent votes. No film of Katrina has been released this year. In the coming days, her films like ‘Tiger 3’ and ‘Merry Christmas’ are to come.
3) Alia BhattAlia Bhatt stood third in this list with 9 percent votes. Alia was last seen in a film named ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani’. She made her Hollywood debut this year with a Netflix film titled ‘Heart of Stone’.
4) Priyanka Chopra JonasPriyanka Chopra has been placed at number four by the public with 7 percent votes. Priyanka is walking away from Hindi films. But this year she worked in the Amazon Prime series ‘Citadel’. After this her Hollywood film ‘Love Again’ came.
5) Aishwarya Rai BachchanAishwarya has been at number five in this list with 7 percent votes. In the same year she appeared in Mani Ratnam’s film PS-2.
