At the time this was taken as a joke. People found it cute that a 19 year old had a crush on a 30 year old attached man. Also she wasn’t friends with Katrina then. I think that friendship developed after Katrina and Ranbir broke up. Makes it all the more bizarre doesn’t it?

Shortly after this Katrina had said that every girl between 15 and 35 has a crush on Ranbir.

I think she said it in a light-hearted kidding way here. Not thinking it would ever turn into reality. But what she did later was steal her good friend's very long-term boyfriend. While most of the world would think that is very messed up. I don't know how standards work for Bollywood.
