You also from UK?? I never went to Vue but my husband went a few times with friends because it's cheaper. He still prefers Cineworld. Maybe the screens are better quality.

I think it depends where the odeon is. Leeds/Bradford/huddersfield odeons all show Bollywood films. Especially Srk films.

Oh I don't think our one shows any Bollywood ones except the really big ones like maybe Pathaan and Jawan! But the tickets are even more expensive than Cineworld.

East is quite far from me. I'm in the south.

Cineworld nearest to me was smelly had old stained seats and the people were not great

People who watched Jawan, can someone explain to me what was Lakshmi's backstory? They showed her story in few seconds and I couldn't understand anything. The only thing I understood was her two kids drowned in a water tank.

Her story was most likely a reference to the gas leak that happened in Bhopal in 1984.

With Lakshmi's backstory, there was some sort of explosion/leak and her children died while she survived. Hence the demand to shut down factories that pollute the environment and destroy the land nearby.

All of the demands in the movie are tied to real life news events.

Yaar, Odeon Lux has reclyner seats. and Showcase has recliner seats from where i am. the Cineworld and Vue dont.
