i dont think he would have got any Hero role if he was not Veeru Devgan's son as he used to look really bad during those days, could not dance n was just a passable actor.

i saw some video of his father directing him in his debut film. Maybe it was for his action scenes. i read stories abt how industry would laugh at how Veeru devgan wanted to launch his son n how Ajay proved him wrong.

Watever be the case, he got such a Big debut film only bcoz of the influence of his father. He was not commercial hero material at all.

Being an action director is nowhere near being the son of a famous actor or producer. The papz follow you around since you 2 and half. Shyam Kaushal only started getting video interviews after Vicky became big.

Because his connections clearly got him the lead role in an elite production house. Is he more self-made then the likes a Jahnvi and Sonam who haven’t managed to make anything out of themselves. Probably. But there is a difference between him and someone who started off in small budget OTT films, character roles and then finally got a role as a lead with Yash Raj Fims. You don’t see the gradual process of working your way up there? It is an unfair comparison?

Par Nepotism aur access mein difference kya hai? Nepotism means access n connections which give insiders an advantage over outsiders only. Some use their connections well or get lucky. Kuch logon ko success baad mein mila iska matlab yeh nahi ki woh insider nahi hai.

Aur connections use karne mein bhi galat kya hai?

Wont Kangana Ranaut use her connections to launch her child tomorrow like outsider SRK is launching his daughter today?

No one is saying there is something wrong with it. But there is def a different level of respect for someone who did not have everything handed to them on a platter but still managed to make it despite obstacles. It shows more strong will, resilience, and determination. The whole concept of being self-made is really well known here in the West and anyone who is self-made will automatically have more respect. Maybe in Bollywood circles that thinking just doesn't exist. But many people will continue to think like that because it is a popular idealogy in many places.
