Those Colleen Hoover books are everywhere. They're the plague. There's so many of them . I haven't read any but I know someone who does. Flipped through one and it was pretty bad. Fifty Shades meets Chetan Bhagat. The writing is bad which isn't surprising once you see the titles ( They are Us, We Are Them, One More Time ), but the themes are worse. Toxic guys, maso women who think that's romantic...that sort of thing. It's disturbing that so many young girls read them.

Minty, I agree that it is a emotional movie but - to my liking - it's a bit 'too much'...as for the coho- books: like carisma wrote Colleen Hoover's books have a touch that can get tiring to read (at least imo).

Having seen that you bought a book of Celeste Ng, I guess, the co-ho books may not be your type...

Colleen first published her books herself but eventually the market got interested and she has become a bestselling writer.

This trash member is a regular forum member who is mad at Minty for making the post criticizing India this morning and he is mad at me for liking her post. He is mad at you because you like SRK and criticize Modi. Its a jobless loser whose only claim to fame is sitting his ass all day on this forum talking trash about minorities in subtle language.

Thanks for telling me, Dex 😊

I saw the thread Minty wrote about the Manipur incident...it landed in Dabate Mansion. I mostly follow those incidents through Court publications...

In such a huge country with so much diversity, all kind of human cruelties happen...what makes me worry is the way authorities deal with it and the change in the climate of human interaction during the Modi government (into a negative direction).
