.....SWEET NOVEMBER (2001). It's beautiful, poignant, and heart-wrenching.

Plot Summary: (SPOILERS INCLUDED)

Nelson Moss (Keanu Reeves) is a successful advertising executive living a fast-paced, work-centric life in San Francisco. He is entirely focused on climbing the corporate ladder and has little time for personal relationships. One day, while trying to park his car, he accidentally bumps into Sara Deever (Charlize Theron), an eccentric and free-spirited woman.

Sara, unlike Nelson, embraces life to the fullest and lives in the moment. She has a unique perspective on life and challenges Nelson to join her in a month-long romantic relationship, which she calls "Sweet November." The catch is that at the end of the month, they must part ways with no strings attached. She believes this arrangement will bring positive changes to Nelson's life and teach him the true value of living.

Initially hesitant, Nelson eventually agrees to the arrangement, and the two embark on a month filled with adventures and passion. As they spend time together, Nelson begins to open up and discover the joy of life outside of his rigid work routine. Sara's love and care start to change him, and he becomes more compassionate and understanding.

However, as the days pass, Nelson uncovers a heart-wrenching secret that Sara has been keeping from him. Despite the strong connection between them, Sara is terminally ill. She has chosen to live her life fully and help others experience love and happiness before she passes away.

As the end of the month approaches, Nelson must come to terms with Sara's condition and decide how to handle the inevitable heartbreak. Their time together has transformed both of them, and Nelson must now find a way to carry the lessons he learned from Sara into the rest of his life.

I loved this movie so much and cried so much.

Minty, honestly, not really a movie I would recommend...it's the remake of another HW movie and ...well...I think there are better ones about this subject...

I remember Charlize more because of other movies...

Watched it back when it came out. Haven’t rewatched it yet.

Watch Griffin and Phoenix. Its underrated but a sad, sweet film. Also, funny.

Always like that, one rigid character, one free spirited character. Free spirited character about to die. Then leaves the other in an emotional mess. Where as he was prolly better living a rigid life and focusing on work.

This kal ho na ho type manipulated stories.. i do n t like em. Waste of time.

Although I did not understand your 'conversation', Dex, I found the member's post about Minty worth to get reported...if "maindak" really means 'frog'...

Minty, I agree that it is a emotional movie but - to my liking - it's a bit 'too much'...as for the coho- books: like carisma wrote Colleen Hoover's books have a touch that can get tiring to read (at least imo).

Having seen that you bought a book of Celeste Ng, I guess, the co-ho books may not be your type...

Colleen first published her books herself but eventually the market got interested and she has become a bestselling writer.
