I am surprised he worked with SRK despite knowing he was an outsider and not conventionally handsome.

SRK is probably the only outsider that K Jo has shown some respect for.

Or maybe he just wanted to cash on DDLJ, Pardes, DTPH hype and would not touch SRK if he was already not a success on T.V. and films.
