It's not really important for this thread, but SRK didn't go to do the clashes...it was mostly the other way round...but that is another story and it is interesting to reflect why SRK movies often get a clash 😉

You are clearly wrong my friend. At least he did it all the 4 times that I mentioned. Infact Simmba moved to the next week after he decided to clash with his Zero. Kaabil he clashed after bowing out of a clash with Sultan. Rajesh Roshan requested him to move but he didn’t relent. SLB books his release dates when he announces his movies. Both OSO and Dilwale were announced after SLB booked his dates much in advance. He even personally went and requested him at the time of Saawariya, but with no positive outcome. At the time of BM he didn’t bother anymore but this time he won the clash.

He often tries to clash with other bigger stars may be to assure himself of his superstardom as any narcissistic stars would want to. 🤷‍♀️

Anyway, the bottom line is how Karan keeps taking this high ground on these critical issues when he himself has been guilty of doing or supporting the same.

The makers of Merry Christmas obviously have a lot of faith in their film and are confident that's why they don't mind the clash. Opposite can be said for Karan. He should just move to a different date if he's so afraid.

I'm sure Karan crushed a lot of small time producers by never letting them release on big holidays. So it's about time he gets his dose of karma.

Why should a single film have monopoly over a release date? If it’s a nice holiday then I’d imagine multiple filmmakers will want to take advantage of that…nothing wrong there

Down south , pongal and sankranti are major release blocks and literally 6-7 big movies across Telugu and Tamil release in a matter of 3 days …and there have been times where all of them were blockbusters …

The theatres will give screens to the films they deem fit …even if the screens reduce , the content of the film will drive the films numbers anyway

Unless u know the content is shit and want to cash in on the opening weekend since u know it won’t make any after that….I’m which case, good luck lol
