I also feel there is nothing like love it's just attraction, attachment n care towards someone.

And people call that love

I think Love is elusive. It's more like a state of mind. It evolves over a period of time. These days "I love you" is thrown every now and then.

Love happens from a places of extreme sense of security and stability. It takes everything to preserve it and let it healthily grow without hampering your persona and sense of self.

Besides one can understand love only by making mistakes and love in movies is the ultimate fantasy. It's one way to introduce the concept in young minds. Like a colorful wrapper or well curated book cover just tailor made to target the consumer.

Of course, love exists...it's the most positive feeling you can have towards somebody or something.

Unfortunately human language rarely has more than one word for a feeling that is - like it's antagonist - the most diversified we can have.

And yes, it's a feeling that influences everything physical and mental in us...it is the only force that can win over everything negative...like the negative is continuously working for the destruction of love...but even then love is the bigger force because love is able to embrace negativity and still continue to be there...

All children - without exception - are born with that ability.

Of course, the love in films and books exists...they show many facettes of the power of love (positivity) as they show facettes of the power of evil (negativity).

Romantic love is just a label for a love where physical attraction plays a prominent role...and gosh! whoever really got to know the physical and mental benefits of 'romantic' love - not 'only' sex, but full-filling sex which also gets its high by the partners highs - will find 'just sex' rather off-turning (reminds me of JHMS when Harry don't want to make love with Sejal just for the sexual attraction)...what Hindi cinema does in its unique style with its love song-dances is to show both - the physical attraction but also the equal partnership in physical love...

I could go on and on to write about love...I just want to add as a third point, that there is a tendency to generalize own experiences...

Of course, there is motherly/fatherly/parental love and sons'/daughters'/children's love but they are never-ever a given, they are the most precious gift one gets - as a child and/or as a parent, as a kid and/or as an adult.

How was it falling for a heartless, soulless beast with the emotional depth of a teaspoon? 😆

Are you sure he was a Capricorn?

Capricorns are not at all romantic and rarely express their emotions or show affection.

"Capricorns don’t fall in love easily. It often takes some effort. Love is about making a strategic emotional investment. They don’t like feeling emotionally dependent on anyone else so they often keep their distance. They can be awkward when it comes to romance. Capricorns can be awkward around expressing their feelings. It takes them a while to understand what their feelings are. Their romantic exploits are almost platonic partnerships.

They might not express their affections overtly, but Capricorns are very sentimental. They value family, tradition, and stability. They want to build something real.

Capricorns want to be responsible for something, and for them, responsibility to someone else is the most intimate act of all. Love is the end result of this deep desire. It is a way to make a commitment.

Their emotional maturity can be seen in their ability to harness their baser feelings into something constructive. Capricorns' disciplined natures are a necessity in the face of raw, animalistic sexual desire. To know a Capricorn is to know that they’re grounded, but that does not mean they aren’t sensitive to the warmth of another person’s touch. It just means that they can control it."

Yes he was, and he was very expressive too. My dad is also a Capricorn. He isn't much expressive, but he can be romantic when he wants to be.😆 I remember he used to do shayari for my mom.🤣
