I mean yeah that Rohit guy & Sumit are most annoying part of Kartik's PR, having said that one can't deny that had this bombed or gotten panned it would have been Kartik's head on the chop block, Kiara would have survived unscathed, not to discredit her but all her movies with flop/lesser known actors like Sid Mal and Vicky got dumped on OTT.

Even for Pasudi nu I only saw ppl dragging Kartik as if he was the producer or music director 😆so yeah if his PR is being their usual annoying selves to hype him it's kinda understandable as not a single industry insider is going to appreciate him or his work as they are too busy in singing praises of a quintessential song😆.

That’s fair but only up to a point. His PR went overboard by calling him the savior of Bollywood and comparing him to SRK after the success of BB2. When you do this then you are basically setting the person up for all kinds of ridicule and mocking when the product fails. Varun is still mockingly called Varunardo DiCaprio Dhawan because he compared Dilwale to Inception 🤦🏽‍♀️

I don’t think he got most of the flak for Pasoori remake. He got some of it probably because there was this implication that he has a lot of input in promotion and marketing. But majority of criticism was directed at T-series.

Btw, the comparison to SRK wasn’t just limited to post BB2 time. A few weeks ago when SPKK’s first song came out and it had a kissing scene, his PR released articles about how despite being against kissing scene just like SRK and Salman this was his most comfortable kissing scene because him and Kiara participated in workshops 🙄

Arrey this is nothing his PR has even claimed that he postponed Shehzada out of respect for Pathan and SRK😆 good thing is he has toned down his overconfidence post Shehzada debacle bad part is he still hasn't sacked Rohit, Sumit kinda people which honestly do him more harm than good.

I have watched BB2 & had the misfortune to willing watch LAK2 recently & Kartik can't act. He was good in luv's film but for the rest he's awful. BB2 was out an out a Tabu film. So, I'm not doubtful if Kiara actually did better than him in this film.

This Sumit guy is annoying AF
