I think I kind of agree with both!

As they say, a great mind is one that can hold conflicting ideas simultaneously!

Option A: Cinema is a mirror by which we often see ourselves.

I often see myself dancing in the filmfare awards with SRK watching me with tears in his eyes. Arjun Rampal and John Abraham are exchanging fists over me. Directors are asking who is that girl, while HR and Madhuri are telling everyone that I taught them how to dance when I was only two years old. Just when my dancing wasn’t enough, I start singing, ranging my voice between Shreya and Sunidhi.

Option B: Cinema is the most beautiful fraud in the world.

My alarm starts ringing mid-dream while I’m busy twirling on stage.

Option A

I am selecting option A because I could connect to some of the powerful characters of the cinema well. Therefore, yes, cinema is a mirror by which we often see ourselves.

I like the pattern of thought there. I also agree that both these statements do fit in. But I say the option B is more fitting for me.

Yes this is why I placed them against each other. But what we are looking for is which one is more true than the other for the individuals.
