Across The Spider-Verse.

What a mindblowing movie! Thoroughly entertaining. Not a single dull moment. It is worth watching just for its beautiful animation.

*Spoilers ahead*

I forgot this movie had "Part 1" in its title at the start, and since there was no grand action set piece in the climax, the cliffhanger was out of nowhere and I ended up wanting more. I kept on wondering how they will end this movie tying so many loose ends. After the movie I realized how it made so much sense that this is just half of the story.😆

I'll say this is better than Into The Spider-Verse and I think most will agree. Definitely better than No Way Home (which was honestly just fan-service) and Multiverse Of Madness. Kevin Fiege should take notes. This franchise is also now part of the MCU whether he likes it or not.😆

I liked how the sequel focussed more on Gwen. She's like the co-lead to Miles, not a supporting character like she was in ITSV. Sometimes it even feels like its her movie. Sadly not much screentime for Peter B Parker. He's like extended cameo. Indian Spider-Man gets some focus. Likely he will get more in the sequel.

This movie may not do huge business in India, but I believe Beyond The Spider-Verse is going to be huge, because of the cliffhanger ending and if they get Tobey and Andrew, maybe even Tom in the film. They definitely have set the stage for it.

I prefer the first one . This one was way too long for an animated movie . Nothing even happens in the first half , it’s the second half where the story properly moves.

Except both dealing with the concept of multiverse, nope!

I am going to watch it soon.
