In an unexpected turn of events, seems like Urfi was invited to the recently held Global Excellence Awards, but was later uninvited, owing to the actress not being on Madhuri Dixit's guest list. Miffed by the same, she took to her Instagram handle to call out the team.

Taking to her social media handle, Urfi spilled the beans on the unfortunate incident, writing, "Fun fact about this event – they reached out to my team, inviting me, I accepted the invitation, canceled my plans, arranged my outfit, last moment they told my team I'm no more invited. When we asked them the reason, they said I am not on Madhuri's guest list (what a weird reason). Bhai main marr nahi rahi kahi jaane k liye, but to tell someone last moment not to come after inviting them. Grow some b**** or borrow from me."
She paired the note with a video of Madhuri Dixit at the event, further calling out the actress for her actions in her own way.
A spokesperson from the events team, however, rubbished Urfi Javed's claiming, "Urfi’s team was informed well in advance about the situation. What she’s put out is a complete lie."
