If we just compare the first movies of the two.. did u find Rani more impactful and better than Mahima in Pardes? Or vice versa.

Both good looking actresses in their individual way and style

Both had distinctive, heavy voices. Both their roles requires some power to go with the concept and both delivered it perfectly.

(From someone who has seem Mahima up close in real life, let me tell you she looked very different in real life, she was more smaller than she appeared on screen, not as fair - She looked more Korean like in real).

Rani acted better for sure

Mahima was better in her debut but I would say Rani turned out to be a far better actress later.

I choose Mahima.

I will never forget her power speech. She sounded awesome..

Rani⭐️, and it's not even a competition.

Mahima was an average actress at best with not much range in acting. She was good in some films like Pardes, Daag etc where she had author-backed roles.

Rani debuted with the medicore Raja Ki Ayegi Baraat and she wasn't very strong (acting-wise) during her initial years, but she improved by leaps and bounds with every film as her career progressed.

The way her career peaked between 2002-2006 was something else.👏 Sadly, she had the steepest fall in her career in 2007, but thankfully her comebacks later worked in her favor.

She is one of the most versatile actresses in Bollywood.

Rani is more versatile. Mahima is also pretty.

While Rani is a far superior actress then Mahima. THERE IS NO EVEN DEBATING THAT.

But I hated that film Raja Ki Ayegi Baraat with a passion. The story of a girl falling in love with her rapist. 🤢🤢 Poor plot, poor script, and poor direction. As a result, the director did not extract the best from Rani either.

Mahima made her debut in a far better movie. The movie had far better actors, writing, and direction. And yes, Subash Ghai did extract a reasonably good performance from Mahima.

Debut films... both were good. I liked Mahima more in hers. Doesn't matter about the other movies.. its about their first film. Deffo Mahima stood out slightly more than Rani in her debut film.

There is a method to this maddness .. I chose these comparisons.. because these girls both gave such an impactful performance even when it was their first time in screen..

Which is unlike the actresses of today.. who are mostly just like a wallpaper in tye background.
