Katrina never improved her acting or language. Her hardwork lies somewhere else. Mostly body and dance IMO and networking including dating biggest stars.

If she was so hard working she would improve her acting and language.

Anyway the discussion is not about her. One can name any artiste, film or song one thinks is more of luck than merit or quality.

Among singers I would add Mika who is shit. But clicks as audience has no sense of quality.

I agree that Kat never worked on her language and acting skills. Nobody ever considered her an actress anyway 😆 She developed her dance skills instead and her career mostly relied on her beauty, that’s why she is still incessantly butchering that pretty face of hers, acting toh aati nahi use 😆 I like Mika yaar 😆 From the current lot I don’t see Neha Kakkar’s hype. I don’t know what Jacky is doing in this industry either, she has no talent whatsoever.

They had no or little merit but success was purely luck or fluke?

For me it would be Katrina Kaif who had no idea of language, no versatility or acting, no beauty like Ash. But still she became ridiculously successful purely due to her white skin, tall height, body and Indian obsession with firang girl. To last so long and give so many hits with so less talent as an actor and without even knowing the language is sheer luck IMO.

I don’t think that if Ash and Salman would have worked out, Kat would be anywhere as successful as she is today.

Neha Kakkar, Honey Singh, Tony Kakkar, Badshah represent nadir of Indian music.

Total flukes

Alia Bhatt's success. Films handed to her on a silver platter.

Saddest and lamest theory in the book to call someone you hate .....lucky so that their hard work can be discredited in the name of luck...

I have another theory.....Luck is just God loving one more.....now go figure why God would love some more than the others...😉

So spiteful to discredit 30 years of hard work as sheer luck.....

Don't be so blinded by hate....that it takes away your power to reason.

30 years? Katrina has come only since 2003. Who is your post intended for? Please be specific.

(and here I am not even talking about his unbearable over acting & hamming in a majority of his films, but pure luck of the films which made his career left by others, barring Swades)

Thank God! 🙏

to be born to a superstar writer in BW is not luck??

To be born extremely good looking ...yet with zero acting skills.....and become a superstar is not luck??

There is no doubt luck plays a BIG part in our lives. But discrediting one's years long hard work, skills, passion, love for their craft just like that?

You can't make a good dish with just one ingredients. Life is like that. Full of spices. You can't go on forever depending on one thing. People discrediting one's hard work, may not have seen people who are damn passionate about their growth as an artist, works hard, at the same time very popular.

Anyway, they say, "luck favours the brave".
