If the actress was not going to quit the show then WHY WOULD YOU KILL THE CHARACTER? I actually slid off the couch and sobbed onto the carpet. I kid you not, my family members were walking over my body while I cried my soul out.
She did the same thing to Kavya in KavyAnjali. Killed the main hero and brought him back as a look-alike. WHY EKTA YOU HATEFUL SINISTER BETCH.

Ekta has a habit of f*cking with her shows and ruining some good pairings. She also has obsession with plastic surgeries because let’s throw science outta the window. Reincarnations and all that crap. It’s a surprise when she decides not to mess with the main pairings in some of her shows otherwise she almost always keeps them apart, have them marry some other clowns and then make them die. I could never forgive her for ruining that Kayamat show for me. I loved Neil(Jay Bhanushali) and Prachi in that but she obviously had to ruin them too and made her marry Shabbir Ahluwalia, I like him but he looked way too junglee and uncouth for her.Till the end I kept on hoping she would somehow unite her with Jay again but b*tch never did that.
