For the past two months ranveer has been laying low and not been doing any public events, this nba event is something he has to do as he is the Indian ambassador for the nba, its a prior commitment.

Plus, he can't just sit at home and do nothing for the next few months, he needs to work and doing such events is something he loves doing, why should he miss out.
