Somewhere i felt he knows his time is up to go. The way he talks abt death to his wife, the hurry to build up the studio and than telling SRK that this is it,it will be his last shot. It all sums up he knew that he is leaving

I never liked JTHJ. The only film King Of Romance become cold & frozen in his forte genre Romance but since it was last film of Yashji i felt its the perfect farewell for a man who made indian cinema what it is tdy. Its all due to him

All these points you wrote about, I liked very much, too. ❤️

Now, Adi's face is more known...so it may not be as easy as before to get the pulse of the audience in a theatre.

Yes, movies are his life (as it was for Yashji, only that Adi handles it in another way)!

I agree

Aditya said as much. He won the FF best director and got lots of fame from DDLJ. After that he just wants to be a director (not a celebrity director like KJO) 😆

Maroon, not a director! a producer and distributor...and writer, too...

He only directed ONE movie after his father's death (Befikre) and three before (DDLJ, Mohabbatein, RNBDJ...all 3 with SRK in the lead)

We are the audiences we all know its the audience who makes & breaks a film and stars. But stars will be stars them % their arrogance🤣I was like kis baat ki ghamand everyone makes an effort & and hardwork but the fate is no decided by you but the audiences,if only they like it they will accept it. Aditya knows this 100%. I still love to watch KHANS Akshay & Ajay on-screen rather than Kjo nepo gang whom Kjo forces down my throat

Now, Adi's face is more known...so it may not be as easy as before to get the pulse of the audience in a theatre.

Audience tastes has changed over the years and now its not easy to bring the audiences back to theatre w/o them convincing themselves this is the kind of film they want to watch and go to the theatres. Too much exposure has done the damage and starts big mouth too

Yes both father-son has a different way of working. Yashji makes films more on that fantasy type of love where sarees flies and roses it makes it a dream while Aditya practical he does not have such vision of his father he makes films based on practical love and life

I love Adi's thoughts when a couple runs away it hurts the whole family even the girl in long run which is the truth, hurting your parents can never give you satisfaction & peace

Chak De India my most fav. With this film Hockey which is the national game of India i heard, got its recognition that the game.and women team deserve👏A film that changed the fate of the game. Its my topmost fav film and it was so nice to see SRK playing Kabir Khan he was phenomenal in the film. I am glad Adi did not think & brush away the moment he heard the idea and the difficulties the team & game suffering how the game is not getting the recognition that it deserve he felt the nation needs to know abt and made the film with SRK too agreeing to it

Some films does not need a script experience and living among the situation is enough to tell a story

Is it only me who found this documentary rather underwhelming and nothing but a PR stunt to promote YRF and the talent they support? There is something undeniably fake about these generation of bollywood actors that I have just lost any faith that whatever they say/do is genuine..
