What are your expectations from 2023 in BW? - Page 2

Might go back to cinemas to watch Ranbir/Shradda movie and or Tiger 3

Haven't got any expectations from Bollywood at this point now. But I'm kinda looking forward to see how Ranbir's lateral move working with directors like Vanga and the other misogynist one whose name I can't recall will work out for him.

I have no expectations. I am not looking forward to or excited by any movie. I will just take everything as it comes.

I am waiting for the unexpected

I like films surprising me with the story and box office rather than being right about how they perform

I think it'll be a strong year for Hindi films. Definitely better than 2020-2021.

SRK and Salman are both returning to the big screen so finally we'll see some big openings again. Jawaan, Dunki, and Tiger 3 seem most promising.

Post Drishyam 2, Ajay seems primed for something big with Bholaa and I've heard great feedback about Maidaan.

RK will probably deliver with Animal in a big way. Expect the same for Prabhas in Salaar.

Is Project K coming this year? Then that could also result in a great box office year for DP.

Akshay returning to comedy with Selfiee and then OMG2 and BMCM could work too.

Kareena has a massively interesting lineup that will surely please the critics with Sujoy Ghosh's next, Hansal Mehta's next, and The Crew.

Ayushmann could finally see some box office success again with Dream Girl 2.

For me, the most exciting thing is that we're finally getting the return of the rom-com/drama genre with Tu Jhoothi Main Makaar, Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahaani, Satyaprem Ki Katha, Bawaal, Vicky-Sara's next, Rola, and few others. I hope this means we also get really strong soundtracks.

Going off the director and names associated, there's a whole bunch of mid-size movies to look out for including Kuttey, Khufiya, Kho Gaye Hum Kahan, Merry Christmas, Sam Bahadur, etc.

There are also a lot of big names venturing into web series this/next year with Shahid in Farzi, VD and Samantha in Citadel, SLB's Heera Mandi, and Rohit Shetty's cop show with Sid.

So overall lots of content to look forward to :)

Nothing. Getting even a decent movie from Bollywood would be a miracle.

Keeping low expectations but definitely it's gonna be far better than 2022👍🏼

What you want me to expect tho?
