To be fair she only seems to have started to look old after being with a certain someone. I would assume dealing with someone like that takes its toll on you. Poor girl!

Aloo’s crows feet-age shaming discussion is happily encouraged— that’s “public person can’t escape criticism”.

Double dhol feminists.

P.s. — for the record, I never called DP, stick.

Alia’s crows feet were mentioned along with her baby face as a discussion of how her looks are becoming a dichotomy. I don’t think that’s age shaming, but yes it is a discussion about he face changing due to her age. To me age shaming would be if this was discussed in a context of mocking her. This was a mere observation.

Also about the double standards. I don't complain much either. But no one comes to Vicky's defense when he has been called an ugly truck driver or chapri or whatever other names I do not remember. I do not come to his defense much unless it is one person. Nor do I expect everyone to be at his defense just because he is my favorite. People can not like him based off his looks. Even though he is my current fav that is perfectly fine with me. But that is far more degrading because it also defames him on his looks in the context of class and lack of money. But even if you do really feel that pointing out flaws in someone's appearance is a complete moral taboo than do not be a double-sword moral perfectionist. Or only care when it is about your favorite.

And these very same people had issue with RK and so much “concern” for Aloo - when RK had funny banter with his wife about her weight gain during pregnancy 🤪😆

Complete strangers talking about you on the internet vs your own husband saying you’re spreading on camera? Yea not the same thing.

Yes. The way that Vicky’s look gets judged by some is actually elitist and snobby at best and bigoted at worst. With some colorism thrown in there for good measure. Let’s be real, Vicky’s looks wouldn’t get picked on this much if he had fair complexion while Ranbir wouldn’t be called good looking if he had darker complexion.

Hmm Bolly no offense but that’s clearly double standards - at least in my books , stranger can comment on her looks but the same stranger expects that her husband can’t comment on her looks - that too when they were having a friendly banter ? 🤔😆

About the physical vs emotional cheating:

If indeed Ranbir is bisexual and his male boyfriend is Ayan then I can understand that Alia isn't concerned about that as long as Ranbir is loyal and loving to her...and Ayan may have by now learned to accept the Ranbir-Alia relationship...

That's the crux if your life has become a subject of public interest...marrying and being a father respect the Indian tradition...and what best to do this with a woman that seems to be besotted with you.

But even if Ayan isn't more than just a best friend to Ranbir, I think that Ayan is in love with Ranbir.

I disagree. Strangers commenting on her looks on the Internet might not always reach her, and if it does I’m sure she has tools to dismiss them as Internet trolling or whatever. Now I’m not claiming that it will always be successful or that it has never now or never will in the future affect her. But she has ways to cope and escape that based on the sheer fact that these are strangers whom she doesn’t know from Adam. Ranbir is her husband, someone who should know her body image issues and insecurities, someone who is expected to be sensitive and aware of his pregnant wife’s body changing for his child. Him telling her she’s spreading was insensitive at beast and just cruel at worst. And again, based on her reaction and even Ayan’s I don’t think she took it as a banter. Also, the same strangers on the internet called him out on it so much so that he was forced to give his half assed apology a few days later.
