I liked him in Dhamaka but Kartik in Freddy is better than anything Varun, Sidharth, Arjun, Tiger, ARK etc have done, I genuinely feel. It would be really interesting to see how he performs under the direction of likes of Hansal Mehta and Anurag Basu. I hope they cast someone good in Aashiqui 3.

1. not nepo

2. not sucking up to the Dharma mean girls

3. seems to be an overall decent guy except according to the Dharma mean girls

4. making the best of the opportunities avalaible to him.

5. seems to understand he has a ways to go in acting and doesn't call himself the 2nd coming of Amitabh Bachchan or Smita Patil.

6. his PR talks about his work rather than his rivals or rumored girlfriends

7. making interesting movie choices.

Let's see how he does over the next couple of years

all the points u have mentioned actually did make me his fan. I understand what the popular opinion on this forum is but the general audience definitely likes him and so do I 😳

yes it is. legit ways are obviously subscription to Hulu but we have IP TV so we get to see most movies that are not on usual Amazon Prime or Netflix 😆

I am also excited to see how he performs under directors like Kabir Khan, Hansal Mehta and Anurag Basu.

I had completely forgotten about the captain India movie with Hansal. I am very excited about all these movies.

For sure! Shehzada has lots of odds against it, if it works then that's it cause the budget is also 100+. It's most expensive Kartik film until now. And I really wish they cast Rashmika opposite Kartik in Aashiqui. Kartik and Rashmika will make one hell of a hit pair.
