Aaradhya's birthday and Aishwarya's post

Aaradhya turns 11 today and she is almost as tall as Ash now. It's a bit weird to see her kiss her almost grown daughter on her lips. She used to do this as a baby as well but now it's starting to make me feel uncomfortable. She is dangerously lurking in the Mahesh Bhatt territory now.

Aaradhya may just be 11 but looks 14-15 due to her height. So may be that's why this kissing post looks more weird to me.

Nothing wrong in being affectionate with one's child. But imo she should not have put it out on the internet as it's a brutal place and the trolling might affect the child who is now a preteen. Aishwarya ke liye she would always be her baby but it's time she set few boundaries atleast in public eye as the child is not a baby anymore.

I find it incredibly weird when even parents kiss their babies on the mouth!!! It’s SO creepily invasive. Mahesh Bhatt, the less spoken about, the better. Such men are very dangerous. I know Ash comes from a benign place, but she should REALLY REALLY stop doing this publicly. It just comes off as super-creepy seeing as how Aara is 11 today & looks much older b/c she’s super tall. I mean she’s been heavily trolled for this before & continues doing it, so I guess, you reap what you sow..? 🤷‍♀️

There’s nothing wrong with the picture per say, but I understand why people find it odd to weird. It might have looked better if she had posted a quick video or reel of this as I’m sure the kiss was a fraction of a second. And as everyone else said Aaradhya is not a baby anymore and here looks practically the same size as her mother.

I personally never found anything wrong with the Mahesh and Pooja Bhatt picture either. Maybe it’s my Americanized mentality as it’s not unusual here for fathers and daughters to give each other a peck on the lips. But then I found out that Mahesh at one point had said that if Pooja wasn’t his daughter he would have married her and suddenly they became Mumbai’s Donald and Ivanka 🤢

IMO, a peck on a child’s lips is still ok, but to still continue doing it when the child’s entered teenage is so weird.

I think Ash should stop posting such pics in public.

It just corrupts the intention (which I'm sure was pure on Ash's part)

A kiss on d cheek would be better

I've the feeling that the comments reflect a cultural thinking... being born and living as a white, European person, parents giving their children a peck on the lips is without any sexual innuendo.

However, Aish is born and living in a cultural surrounding where kisses/pecks on the lips are laced with innuendo. Therefore I agree that Aish should not have made this affectionate gesture public and a discussion subject.

I see nothing weird in this pic.

What I find weird is that this pic is being compared to Mahesh Bhatt and Pooja Bhatt's pic, where Pooja Bhatt was a grown up adult and a father doing that to his adult daughter would be much more awkward and strange. Mahesh even stated worst statement like "If Pooja wasn't my daughter, I'd have loved to marry her." So please, let's not mix up that situation to this one.

I saw this pic on insta in the morning and really felt weird. I am pleasantly surprised that ppl here agreed with it cos I thought it will be opposite.

The photo is so up close and so may be it feels weird. Also yes, in India generally parents do not kiss kids on the lips. So definitely putting out such pic is not good for the child for the fear of getting trolled.
