Does it affect you too?

I feel sad seeing icons we grew up with, ageing or not as active now...

It is like sort of as sad as losing your old classmates, teachers, friends, relatives or home you grew up with and as sad as seeing your loved ones, parents and elders age or change...

I am unable to believe so much time has passed and Khans are inching close to 60 now...or actresses we grew up watching are retired or semi retired...

Deaths of artistes we grew up watching also hurt.

It feels hard to watch films of past now.

I mean I cannot accept so much time has passed and nothing of that time will remain or remains now.

It hurts to see old films now and realise how many artistes or places and things are no more...

I was watching Haseena Maan Jayegi few days ago and it felt sad to see Kader Khan and the guy who played cop in it are no more. I cannot see any old film without feeling bad that likes of Reema Lagoo, Amrish Puri are no more.

I find it hard to watch Chandni again after all its 3 main leads died.

It makes you feel surreal or hard to make sense of time and makes you wonder how much you too have lost or changed in real life or there will be things or people or places that will never be back or no reunion or things like old days again...

It feels sad to see icons you grew up with, age or look unhealthy or try hard and look bad with those botched up botox jobs and plastic surgeries...

I felt empty when Lata ji, Taz, KK died. I wonder how I will handle if something happens to other 'forever in public' icons like Hema, Dharam, Rekha or Big B retire or...

I mean artistes become part of your world and make you feel things are same. It is hard to accept even newer lot like SSR, Sidharth Shukla, Pratyusha died.

Is it just me or does anyone else find it hard to accept this total change in world around us and also difficult to see old serials or films or songs knowing things are never gonna be same again or the associative nostalgia and flood of memories is hard to handle?

true feels sad that as time passes all goes away except the memories and the feeling of the moment we have been through those times

If it feels hard to watch films of past now, you should watch present and future films. You should forget the past and move on.

When Sushant Singh Rajput died I was hurt the most.. because had heard a lot of good things abt him, specially became a fan of him for his goodness and kind personality, was not a big fan of his acting though.. but it did really hurt. Same with Sridevi.. was hurt when she died.. it is sad but true.. this is the reality of life.. people go when their time comes I guess....yea, definitely sad..😔

In our minds everything is like yesterday or we want things to remain as it is or want option to relive or revisit those things or days and have things like old days again.

We often do not even realise how much things or times or people or our homes and ourselves have changed and perhaps irreversibly.

Sometimes watching old films is even harder as you remember people you saw them with but those people are no more either.

Artist growing old feels bad because it is reminder that we too are growing old and so are our parents and elders on who we relied and felt secure running to them asking for everything

New ones do not have quality of old ones nor the attachment of times and people, places with old ones.

Easy to say move on but when things are better in past or you lose something or someone better, you do miss past.
