1994 also saw the BIGGEST CULT CLASSIC COMEDY Andaz Apna Apna release which till date proven to be the biggest and most loved cult classic comedy of Hindi cinema's history, although its done only average business in its original run due to many factors involved in its cinematic release.

1994 also BROKE the jinx of Salman's worst years in his career, year 1992 and 1993, and HOW, giving him the BIGGEST HIT of Hindi cinema EVER, so far.

1994 also removed the tag of JINXED HEROINE for Raveen Tandon who gave only flops during the initial 3 years of her career from 1991 to 1993. The year 1994 gave her a string of super hits all of a sudden in Mohra, Dilwale, Laadla and average fared Andaz apna apna and Imtihan. Also gave her the tag of Mast Mast girl which she is known with even till today.

1994 also gave Tabu her first hit movie and gave her the memorable tag Rukk Rukk girl.

1994 finally gave the undisputed NUMBER ONE HEROINE tag to Madhuri Dixit in form of the biggest hit ever Hum aapke hain kaun, and also her unforgettable performance in spine chilling Anjaam.
