Codename Tirangaa had very dull collections of 15 lakhs nett as the lower concessional rates failed to bring an audience and this lead to collections being very low as it never got extra footfalls the rates it should have got. There is little hope with such low numbers.

Now this appears to be her 3rd movie in a row to wrap up under 1cr lifetime collections

The audience gave up on her years ago, tbh. I didn't even know her film was releasing.😵

Not sure how much being pitted against Alia ruined her, but I think she is also the classic case of an actress losing her motto because of her insecurities. 🤔

Sadly, she never recovered from her downfall in 2014, and her off-screen image also got tainted around that time for some reason. (Kinda like what happened to Deepika in 2020)

Her only commercial success after that are Golmaal Again and Kesari, but they were totally hero-oriented films. Nobody remembers Parineeti from these films.

She is a natural actress but doesn't have strong PR. Undeserving actresses are getting films after films🤢. I would like to ask some outsider enthusiasts, why is Pari not getting good movies despite of being a nepo? They will ignore this question now. The fact is when talentless outsiders start using their PR extensively, SOME talented Nepo kids as well as actually talented outsiders( Mrunal, Sanya, Tara, Ayushman,etc ) are ignored hard

I agree...it really seems to be a case of lackluster PR (apart from individual things we don't know).

She got critical acclaim and seems to have talent. In addition she didn't come into the acting business by being shoved into it.

She never recovered after that break she took. Other actresses replaced her . Anyways, she is a one trick pony.

She is the worst case of wasted potential in BW ever....She was really good in her earlier movies but then decided to take that break and focussed too much on her weight and legit made the worst decisions ever. I genuinely thought Alia would be the one that fizzles out and she was here for long term.

Even now she opted out of Animal to do the Imtiaz Ali movie...Pari's choices are the reasons her career is where it is today.

I’m not sure what kind of reviews Code Name Tiranga has gotten but she got great reviews for Saina and Pinky. She’ll probably never be a star at this point but I think she’ll find her place in niche and performance oriented films.

As for what happened with her? She didn’t realize that her USP was her talent and decided that she had to be thin and glamorous and a star and that lead to some bad decisions.

Unpopular opinion, but I find PCJr over-rated. Her film choices leave a lot to be desired too. I hope she manages to up her game b/c Aloo left her in the dust long Longgggg back!!!
