Stop remakes, the originals are all available for free streaming so most people will just watch those. Also, why these inflated budgets? Bollywood heroes need to start charging reasonable fees behave their fees are no longer justified with their success.

It has made decent overseas. Overall total is around 100 cr-110 cr. That means the rest will be made up by selling it to OTT, so they could make back the full 175 cr. If they paid so much for Laxmii Bomb they'll pay for VV.

I haven't watched either. I saw many people praise Hrithik's fresh take on Vedha. Surprised that its a flop. But most movie verdicts these days surprise me.

Hit and flops are relative

If VV was made on a budget of Max 50 crores, it would have been a hit. WW of 140 crores. 175 crore budget is heights.

Same for Brahmastra, very shady because the budget keeps changing and so does the collection.

It has definitely crossed 200 crore which is a good number but with its budget, cannot say

Bolly should stop doing remakes

South actors are better than hrithik and saif in same roles

I think hrithik or salman should not get more than 1 crore per movie they have no acting skills

Imagine bahubhali would be made by hrithik and saif as bahubhali and bhalaldeva it would flop

Or a pushpa be made by varun dhawan another flop

Or kantara by karthik another flop

because these ppl cannot act like original heroes nor suit those roles

PS1 is a south dubbed movie again not bollywood

Bollywood is utter flop from 2020

Imagine ranveer singh as aditya karikalan he would be doing OTT acting not like a crown prince

or varun dhawan or karthik as validevan (karthi) they would make mockery of roles

or alia as nandini instead of ash

or pankaj tripathi as nandini hubby preriyar

thank goodness Ps1 is south movie atleast casting is right and most of those actors know acting

Like vikram aditya karikalan has won 8-9 filmfares and 2 to 3 national awards and even jayam ravi(PS, hero of movie) has won filmfare awards (unlike bollywood south filmfare are not rigged 80% of time usually deserving get it)

Hoping south make movies on chandragupta and ashoka too some day with good actors

Film makers should accept the fact that COVID has changed the way people receive movies. They have realised that there are more important things than movies. That's the reason why they are not flocking to the theaters post COVID.

There were no theatres for approximately 2 years and they have turned to internet and OTT. Content from all over the world is available there. People have already seen Vikram Vedha original version.

There's no point doing remakes from another language because people have overcome language barrier all thanks to subtitles.
