Not glorify. But a nonworking partner is given the same rights over partner's earnings because the support matters a lot - emotional and material.

She had zero qualification or experience to have been a designer in the first place. The least she can do is accept her privilege.

And her 'decor' is horrendous. Just a bunch of expensive brands thrown together does not constitute good interior decor or taste.

TBH, I find Gauri's - and Suhana's - style tacky. Clothes and decor.

And even if she were the greatest, designing a home is a big deal. It's where I come every evening. I wouldn't want to be in a position where I'd have to smile and agree with whatever the designer suggested.

Very true a non working partner will always be entitled to 50% to the working partner’s earnings and savings. This holds and continues after they divorce. If they have kids that more dependent on the non working partner then the non-working partner will get an even greater percentage of their husbands earnings. I have a hard time explaining this to domestic violence victims who are afraid to divorce their husband because they can’t support themselves.

This whole self made BS is in itself a load of BS because of the simple fact that we are not living in a vaccum . For ex,How is SRK successful without Gauri helping him maintain a certain aura and image, let alone the sacrifices she had to make?

True that..

Legally whatever a spouse earns is community property....so half of all of SRK's wealth gained after marriage(which is everything he has) is Gauri's....😆

Gauri is terrible at her job. Stars only hire her to suck up to SRK. Ranbir and Siddarth's places were particularly ugly.

They say behind every successful man is a woman !! ( example the guy who owns Amazon ) when he was nothing she stood by him through thick n thin ( though later he cheated in her ) but she was as much as part as him in his success !!

Women esp in india back in those days didn’t get opportunities like men. Plus in indian culture and some others it’s well known that the man is mainly the bread winner and the wife takes care of the home and children. Once the kids are grown up then many women want to do something and their husbands are just supporting them.

These days it’s a bit different as many women are independent and sometimes the breadwinners or sole bread winners in the household.

She wasn't his wife then though.. and yes, every wife supports her husband in the best possible way and vice versa.. and every wife should be praised and glorified for that
