SRK in Baazigaar was the protagonist
Precisely, he was an anti-hero in Baazigar and was a villain in Darr.
For me, it has to be Baazigar out of the two. I haven't watched Darr, only in bits and pieces, so don't remember much from that movie.
SRK appeared more powerful antagonist in Baazigar than the other , imo . How ?
- an inherent fire in Vicky Malhotra to begin with (due to gross wrong & consequential hardships he faced right just in his salad days) that cannot be & wasn't in Rahul
- a man with balls of steel as exemplified by his ballsy goal itself (a deprived with no support taking on a formidable foe - incredibly powerful & vicious . Like a pygmy determined to snatch the kill from the mouth of a hungry & mighty dragon . Now that vis a vis someone who is already born with a silver spoon that just wants to scare away a tender lass that is easily frightened into his arms)
- an ingenious being as exemplified by his blue-print towards the goal
- a complete sangfroid (despite a bubbling, raging lava of justifiable anger within) as exemplified by his last minute maneuvers
- cold blooded in his goal , one that cannot be lured away even by the strongest of earthly distractions - women (note the stark contrast with Mr.Miserably Simp)
- mental faculties fully intact as opposed to Mr.Lost Some Marbels
- made two woman go crazy for him in the wink of an eye & also when they weren't even his goal (otoh lets not even talk about Mr.Epic Fail)
- Last but not the least , he conquered over the formidable foe , won back his goal & peacefully laid to rest (again lets not even talk about Mr.Epic Fail otoh)
Rest my case there .
While if talking of his acting performance in both the characters....well while both had different shade , SRK was upto 'his' mark in both if you ask me .
Anjaam, then baazigar and darr
SRK's most loathsome villain role is Anjaam in which he even kills Madhuri's daughter.
Baazigar is not technically a villain. He is an anti hero or dark hero but not a villain. You do not hate him in that film and his quest for revenge and justice is justified with his back story.
I never hated SRK in any of these movies though 😆Originally posted by: atominis

And it also helped that Sunny out of all people was the other hero.Originally posted by: Revathy12
Definitely darr!! But his charisma made me root for him in darr just like everyone else !!!
Both performances were good.
Baazigar - Antagonist was a smart capable guy who went over board in his revenge.
Darr - Antagonist is a spineless character who is scared of revealing his feelings for the girl openly and a take a chance but also didn't want her to be with anyone else. He's totally despicable.
Baazigar. I think he was Hamming throughout in Darr😐
