This is good. Other directors, esp KJo, could learn a thing or two from this attitude.

My 2 c.

1. Writing. People have been exposed to well-written films/shows over the last couple of years. They might stay for a part 2. If the writing hasn't improved by then, they will quit.

2. Not every story requires a romantic center. If you include a love interest, give her an actual part in the plot.

Disney has been quite generous with green lighting sequels for films these last two years due to Disney +. But they have been pretty wary of investing in Bollywood. I will wait for Disney to put it in their line-up first.

Regardless, Ranbir and Karan need to rein Ayan in a bit if they are doing a sequel. Brahmastra was trying to do much and it was clearly being rewritten as it went along. Ranbir's films finally seem to be wrapping up in the first schedule. He shouldn't get into another never ending mess.

I so want them to read my theory. Probably even implement it 😆

I think there is more to Alia s character. On my second watch, I am 75% sure that Isha didn't follow shiva on his journey for the sake of 2 day-old love. But there is more to it.

Jokes aside, I love that Ayan is willing to work on the shortcomings. That’s a good sign. I think the “idea” of Brahmastra is good in theory, but they messed up the casting and execution. IMO he needs a “larger than life” lead pair and these two are just not it. That’s why the film didn’t reach its full maximum potential. Better luck next time, looking forward to seeing if he actually learned his lesson or not. Ranbir as Dev would be a huge mistake

The mistake his he made Alia a cheer leader (love story was dragging) and good thing was casting Mouni just wish her part was more!!

Like this! They could maybe tweak the storylines if someone comes up with a better idea/plotline
