Many Indians r working outside n earning good n have better quality of life.

Even if alia has British citizenship it should not matter because she might be getting benefited out of it.

Akshay Kumar is trolled because on one side he does desh bhakti movie long lectures invoking nationalism n other side leaves Indian citizenship. He looked hypocrite.

No sane person is giving away a British citizenship to get an Indian (or any other south asian country ftm ) one in today's time.

To me if you are born Indian and change immigration status that will not change what you feel for your birth country. If you are celebrity or any other NRI there is always deep rooted Indian inside you, even if you are in US/UK/Canada… you are recognized as person of South Asian decent. The perspective is all it matters, for one benefiting from a foreign passport and having OCI seems like a balance, to others it might not. Everyone is entitled to have his priorities in their life. People will comment in favor or otherwise.

Practical thinking. It's more beneficial to have a British passport than an Indian one.

I’m honestly surprised that she has been brought up in Mumbai all her life and is earning millions working in India but she doesn’t want to become an Indian legally . 👀


Even in the video I’ve posted on top she talks about taking up dual citizenship (India doesn’t allow that ) but not about giving up British one in favour of an Indian one.
